Before I Die is an interactive public art project that invites people to share their hopes and dreams in public space.

Thank you to volunteers from Yollocalli Youth Arts Reach, Tease Salon and some neighbors for pitching in and helping repair the Before I Die wall at 18th and Carpenter Street. This project has been overwhelmingly embraced by the Pilsen and Chicago community. Help us to encourage folks to respect the wall by talking it up, emailing us if it’s been defaced and help keep the chalk boxes full!
This wall is the communities and over 500 people filled in the blank…let’s do it again!
